Responsibilities

With limited oversight, perform a wide variety of professional level human resources functions which may include: recruitment, employment, performance evaluation, benefits, credentialing, wellness, safety and employee-relations.

  • Coordinate and maintain employee benefits
  • Maintain, research and track leaves of absences
  • Credentialing - Initiate and coordinate the acquisition and receipt of all credentialing documentation from new and existing practitioners; provide follow-up and problem resolution. Prepare and maintain information provided for various carriers. Coordinate new provider orientation and six-week evaluation
  • Act as primary point of contact for volunteers, externs, interns and preceptors
  • Develop and manage recruitment and new hire process including advertising materials, job fairs, pre-screening, interviewing, testing, reference checks, debarment, credentialing, personality index and employment offers
  • Provide verification of employment and background checks on current and former employees
  • Develop and make recommendations for new/current HR-related manuals, forms, descriptions, etc.
  • Prepare, distribute appraisal information on scheduled basis
  • Generate general memorandums, forms, correspondence, etc
  • Assist in the development, analysis, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs including salary structure
  • Create and present HR-related training programs
Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field
  • Minimum two years' HR-related job experience
  • HRIS experience
  • Valid California drivers license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Completion of PHR or Human Resources Certificate Program

Required Skills/Knowledge/Ability

  • Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Experience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel), business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities

Pay Range

$28.00 to $34.00
