Responsibilities

Administer the credentialing process associated with appointment and reappointment of providers on behalf of VCC ensuring that all credentialing and accreditation processes and procedures re-completed in accordance to established regulatory and program requirement.

  • Initiate and coordinate the acquisition and receipt of all credentialing documentation from new and existing practitioners; provide follow-up and problem resolution. Prepare and maintain information provided for various carriers. Coordinate new provider orientation and six-week evaluation
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate credentialing/accreditation committee proceedings and provide follow-up as appropriate
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure that all credentialing and accreditation processes are completed in accordance to relevant regulation, policies, and standards.
  • Maintain a comprehensive credentialing database and prepare reports and summaries as appropriate and monitor provider licenses
Qualifications
Minimum
  • Bachelors degree in field of human resources or related field
  • Minimum of four years' credentialing-related job experience
  • Valid California drivers license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • FQHC credentialing experience

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Proficient in Windows, MS Office programs and Internet use

Salary

  • $32-38/hr DOE
